No shit. I had to put with it for about 18 months and the only reason I broke even was that I was driving a Passat diesel with 45 mpg. Everybody else with Camrys or Tauruses were getting screwed.

I already told my boss if I end up incurring fuel costs out of pocket I am looking for a new job.
He got all pissy with me and assured me (in his corporate weasel way) that things will work out just fine.
If I am paying out of pocket for fuel I may as well just incur all of my own costs and work for myself so I can earn all of the profit I earn for them.
End of rant
